Blogs can look cute...even when my house can't.

I was just realizing why, when I am 10 weeks pregnant, tired, sick and tired(did I mention that one already?), I still am taking time to sit at the computer and type new posts. My blog is organized. I am desperately trying to hold on to something that can stay the way I put it. Right now I am a little overwhelmed by the mess of stuff around me. That's when I go to the computer and see my life in neat little lines. Could it be a virtual clean house? Or does it remind that I do have good times. Whatever it is, it is helping right now. I know someday I will miss the mess but right now I need a little order.

Andrew's Movie

So Monday was full of fun projects. Andrew discovered a program on the computer called Window's movie maker and decided to make himself a movie. Andrew Ingram came over and after recruiting his sisters and brother, he had a well rounded cast. I'll give you a short synopsis for your viewing pleasure. It is called "The Civil War in Action". The beginning starts with training. Next are some battle scenes. Following the victory celebration.

P.S. The movie takes awhile to buffer so I would start it and then pause it until the buffering gets ahead of the play position. Then you can push play again and it should play with out any glitches.

Abigail's Birthday

Well it finally came! We have been counting down since last year to "how many days until my birthday?". She had a fun birthday. Presents, dream spaghetti, and strawberry cake rounded out the evening. Isn't it great to be six...

What can happen when you doze.

I have to write a little about this. It is a culmination of several one eyed naps that I have taken on the couch while Foster and I are home. I am amazed and frustrated at what he can accomplish in half an hour. One day I discovered that the child proof doorknob covers were not so childproof anymore and he had gotten into everything in the pantry. One time he found a book of lifesavers. (I'm not sure who they belong to...no one has claimed them as missing yet.) Yes, he ate almost every single roll. I did notice in my in and out of consciousness that I heard him crunching something but couldn't put two and two together until I fully woke up. Another time he decided to lock all the doors. (To my bathroom, kids bathroom, Andrew's bedroom and the girl's bedroom.) I didn't mind that so much as it was a very good excuse that I couldn't clean anything until Ryan got home because all the keys have been lost for the third time since we have lived here. This last time he decided to make up his face with my waterproof mascara, luckily we had already come back from school, so it is still on his face, and probably will be until he takes a bath tonight. I am not safe anymore dozing on the couch!

Foster's First Day of School

So Foster is now considered a big kid in our house. He goes to preschool now three days a week in the morning. We tried to capture his excitement but he would have none of it. Come to think of it no one was in a picturesque mood that morning.

Lilly's Baptism

I can't believe it, two baptisms in two years (well almost). Lilly turned 8 in December but had to wait until January to be baptised. I was a lovely program and Lilly was baptised by her dad. All the rest of us were not fairing so well. Andrew had an ear ache and was doped up on medicine. Abigail and Foster both had red goopy eyes and I was hoping that it was not pink eye. I was smiling but feeling very nauseous. We all eventually survived and it is defiantly something to laugh at later although at the time I would have cried!

Happy New Year!

I know it's late but here's is the gang that we had at our house for the new year. It was great fun with my cousins, aunts and uncles. We played games, ate yummy food, and laughed until I had a headache! A great way to start the new year.

Gingerbread Houses

Here are the pictures from the graham cracker houses.
Everyone had fun.
Some were more put together than others.
Grandpa helped Foster with his.

Boys can be fairy princesses too...

When in Rome...?

Foster got caught up in the fun, and I caught it all on film!

New Year

I love the new year. It is a reason to Rearrange the furniture. Reevaluate. Rejunivinate. Refresh yourself. I have tons of posts to create now that all the fun is over. We have all had a nasty cold over the Christmas break that is lingering still. Here are the family pictures that we took right after Christmas.
