The Many Faces of Pearl

I apologize for more pictures of Pearl, everyone but me will probably get sick of them. But it's my blog so oh well. My photographer took these when she was laying on his lap, notice the hairy leg in the background.

No more Mr. Mom

I'm sad because the week went by so fast. I will miss Ryan not being at home to change diapers, make any food we want, rub my feet or back or anything that's sore, walk up and down the stairs several hundred times to get me things that I forgot, move and unpack boxes, and fix all the little things that need attention with the house. He was truly a wonderful Mr. Mom and the kids will be sad to see him go too. We love you 100 daddy. I think I will keep the song playing though because I like it so much.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race

That's my new motto for life right now. I have to keep reminding
myself that it all doesn't have to be done RIGHT NOW! A little at a time will eventually get me there and in a better mental state I might add. With the baby, the other 4 kids, homework, all the little house projects, the garage, the pool and everything else that seems to demand my attention, I think that I have finally realized that it will never get done, so why kill myself to get there, wherever there is I'm not sure? So there's my thought for the week, and here are some funny pictures that my photographer has taken on his phone since I still have not found my battery charger for my camera (another thing that will have to wait it's turn).
This was entitled
"Forward or Backward, Your Choice"

We can't help ourselves. I think she is the cutest baby I've ever seen even when she is doing nothing but looking around.

Foster loves his vacuum!

This should be the next installment of "kids can fall asleep anywhere"

Buy Bye Old House

Well we finally did it. We signed the papers to our old house away on Thursday Morning at 8 am. It was lots of fun with Foster and Pearl tagging along, but didn't take to long. I just had to take a moment to pause and remember our first house and all the good times we had in it.

SO MANY THINGS TO BE THANKFUL FOR

So I can't sleep tonight. Ryan is still at the other house working fixing stuff that we not sure why we are fixing (that's a whole other can of worms that may or may not be discussed later). The song that just keeps playing through my head is "Count Your Blessings".

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings every doubt will fly
and you will be singing as the days go by.

So amid the conflict, whether great or small,
Do not be discouraged; God is over all.
Count your many blessings; angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

I have so much to be thankful for.
I have a testimony that Jesus Christ lives.
I know why I'm here.
I have the blessing of temple promises.
I have the most supportive, kind, loving, and sympathetic husband I could ask for.
I have four almost 5 sweet children.
I have numerous inspired friends who look after me by:
calling, bringing me treats, cleaning my house, helping to pack and unpack, making me dinner, watching my kids and throwing me parties.
I have family that will drop everything when I need help, over and over again.
And the list goes on and on...

With that on my side how can I get discouraged when I am so lovingly taken care of...
And this week I have found myself singing...
...although it was a strange Elton John's song "I'm Still Standing"
The next song I want to be singing is "MR. MOM"
Maybe I will be able to go to bed, now that I have all of that out of me.

Are you in there?

Yes I am here somewhere! I am just waiting for a baby that is never going to come. I still can't find my camera charger to take or unload pictures so here are some off of Ryan's phone that made me laugh. I should have called this post a continuation of "Kids can fall asleep Anywhere".

We got home the other night from somewhere and found Andrew like this. Abigail was not happy that we made her stop for a second to get the picture because I think that she needed to find the bathroom.

After church siesta. Ryan took the picture and then joined me upstairs and we all got a nap, it was wonderful!

A good place to throw a fit when your pizza has a little piece missing. Curl up in a ball on top of the dog crate and cry until mom microwaves you another piece.
