Our First Half Marathon

We did it! That week Ryan decided he would run it with me and just ran like it was nothing. Megan let us stay at her house and queen creek and even watched the kids. She's a wonderful sister.


Sharon was my motivator. She finished before we did, next year I hope to keep up with her.


Hopefully this is the first of many!

Girls' Book Club

This was the book club that we hosted our book was A Little Princess. We started off by dressing the part. Then we made crowns out of pipe cleaner and beads.




We played a story telling game since the little princess was such a good story teller.

We had sponge cake and jam tarts from the book they were delicious!

My Trip to Hawaii

Ryan was in Hawaii, yet again for a business trip. I was at home playing the martyr. He called one Saturday morning and said to get ready to get on a plane. This was the view from the condo balcony.

The water was beautiful, I couldn't get enough of it. I took this on one of our many runs along the beach.

Our second time snorkeling. This time we were much more successful and didn't have to fight the current, although it was very cloudy and cold.

The flowers everywhere were so beautiful. I am modeling on that I picked up on our walk.

This is Waimea Canyon. It was so lush!

Abigail's 8th Birthday

Abigail is now 8, I can't believe it! Where does time go? Seriously? Ryan was in Hawaii for her birthday so we took lots of pictures to send to him. She got to decorate her own cake. Pearl just lying around. Mail from Grandma is always the best.
