Grandma Nelson is so wonderful and watched the kids so we could have a get away weekend. We had delicious (and I mean delicious) room service and got to spend the while day in the temple to celebrate our anniversary. What a treat!
Yay my husband is so sweet to me and got a fan put up in our living room before the heat of summer hit. Here was my contribution. Notice my feet in the picture.
It so hard to be a mom and be spontaneous. That is one of my goals this year is to not let my to do list control my life and loosen up a little bit. We pass the park it seems like 3 times a day and every time Foster asks "Mom can we go to the park". Well today I said "yes" and here are the pictures to prove it!
Right after Christmas Ryan and I got to go to see Wicked with our friends the Garcia's. We had to buy the tickets in October and we were glad because by that time we were broke after Christmas. These are the only two pictures we could take before we were scolded and told to put our camera away!

If I had my child to raise all over again, I’d finger-paint more and point the finger less I’d do less correcting and more connecting. I’d take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes. I would care to know less and know to care more. I’d take more hikes and fly more kites. I’d stop playing serious, and seriously play. I’d run through more fields and gaze at more stars. I’d do more hugging and less tugging.I would be firm less often, and affirm much more. I’d build self esteem first, and the house later. I’d teach less about the love of power, And more about the power of love. Diane Loomans (Full Steam Ahead)
