Abigail was excited this year to have a birthday party with friends. We had a grand time going to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel", eating pizza, opening presents and having cake and ice cream! Abigail being a ham (which rarely happens) Natalyn taking a bite!
Natalyn made her a card and gave her craft supplies. Tara got her littlest pet shop, which she loves. Grandma sent a singing sleeping beauty card with her presents. and MONEY!
While we were at the park the kids wanted to play imaginary baseball. I'm not sure if this was a game they made up on the spot or one that they play at school but either way they all seemed to know the rules. Abigail was pitcher. Foster up to bat. But first a little coaching from Abigail. Swing batter batter....swing!
The simple pleasures of life. Abigail wanted me to take a picture of her hair standing on end from the electric shock! Andrew loves to dig tunnels in the sand. Every time we go it means he needs a bath because he is covered in dirt.

If I had my child to raise all over again, I’d finger-paint more and point the finger less I’d do less correcting and more connecting. I’d take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes. I would care to know less and know to care more. I’d take more hikes and fly more kites. I’d stop playing serious, and seriously play. I’d run through more fields and gaze at more stars. I’d do more hugging and less tugging.I would be firm less often, and affirm much more. I’d build self esteem first, and the house later. I’d teach less about the love of power, And more about the power of love. Diane Loomans (Full Steam Ahead)
