Wedding at the Linden Building

This was another exciting adventure that I had while Ryan was in Hawaii. I got to decorate for a wedding. I was so worried but I have wonderful family that will at a moments notice drop everything and watch my kids, help me decorate and make me dinner. I am so loved! With so much help decorating and undecorating we set a time record and everything turned out better than expected (which never happens).

Mom's Bed

This is what I found after my Young Women Board Meeting when I finally went upstairs at 10pm to see what everyone was doing. Why does everyone like mom's bed? I don't know how many conversations that I have had about children in my bed starting with "mom doesn't go into your bed and mess it up when it was neatly made...". Come what may and love it I guess. My favorite picture is Foster with his mouth hanging open. He has this freaky way of sleeping with his eyes half open so that I'm not sure if he's sleeping or not.

Yummy Treats

These are meringue pedestals
I got a chance to make so yummy treats for a Young Women Board Meeting while Ryan was gone and then turned out so pretty I had to take a picture. Funny I know but that's what makes me smile!

Mini s'more cups

Lemon Drop Cookies

Mini Oreo cheesecake bites

Shopping Trip to Target

Well I know a shopping trip to Target is not much to write about but it's my journal. The second Friday Ryan was gone we all needed to get out of the house so after picking up the kids from school we went to my mom's to drop something off and ended up picking up Georgia. Then with six kids I went to Target. Everyone got to pick something out worth 10 dollars. I didn't care at that point I was spending money! So we wandered for about an hour and a half and after spilling almost a whole container of puffs and buying 2 iccees and 6 popcorns we got in the car to go home. I wanted to take pictures of what the kids got and send them to Ryan. That never happened but I did get the picture of everyone hopped up on sugar and wanting to pose for me which NEVER happens!

Abigail got a "FABULOUS" shirt which fits her perfectly. Lilly the yellow shirt. Foster wears nothing but a swim suit, but I did buy him clothes and Andrew got a blue sports shirt like his dad and tennis shoes.

Progress

So I did make progress that week. I just didn't have time, and haven't had time until now to post anything. I thought summer would slow down but it seems to have added more things to do along with all the other things we were already doing. This week is called "The Battle of the Schedules". So far so good, I think I am winning despite some hiccups in the plan. So I am catching up on all the happenings. Here is the loft after I had spent hours cleaning it. Unfortunately it no longer looks like this anymore?! Oh well I have proof now that it was at some point clean.
