Nine Months Old

Where did the time go? Pearl is now nine months old today. She had her well baby check up and was 90% in height, 96% head, and 75% weight. I got her a shirt the other day that says "Daddy does my hair". She has such wild hair most days that I could put her in that shirt and blame it on Ryan!

She is crawling and climbing all over the place and talking up a storm or more like squealing your ear drums off. Today we were in Target and she squealed loud enough that it echoed!

This weeks project! THE UPSTAIRS HOUSE

I document everything else so I thought I'd take pictures when the house was really dirty. Here are the "before" pictures. I am going to post clean "after" pictures once I get everything rearranged and organized, so hold me accountable. While Ryan is gone and the kids are still in school I need to get this done. IT IS NOW OR NEVER! Notice I have posted all these post today and am doing such a good job procrastinating. Hopefully I will have better results with the rest of my day. We have decided to enroll in Arizona Virtual Academy so the kids will be home full time now and that puts more pressure on getting this project done because once they come home, they will never leave again!!! Just kidding, I am excited to be sort of homeschooling again. I think this will be the best of both worlds for our family. Now I need to hurry and get something done before Pearl wakes up from her nap, she was up three times last night and I'm not sure how long she will sleep.

Mother's Day Mall

The kids decided for their Sunday entertainment to make a mall in the already cluttered loft, but it was mother's day and the day after prom so I didn't care what they did as long as they were nice to each other. Lilly was the proud owner of Toys Are US.

Abigail ran a "Pet Sant" and a Hotel

A mall would not be complete without a GOODWILL which was Foster's domain.
Ryan and I had fun making purchases and asking questions of the store owners. Lilly was crazy toy lady and everything was "FREE, FREE, FREE". Abigail also sold accessories for her pets and had a wide selection of animals. Dogs and cats to monkeys and horses. I asked if there was a Hotel associated with the mall (hoping to get a nap as part of the game) and Abigael informed me there was and it also included room service (even better).
Here's the sign:
Notice the one underneath the Hotel sign and what it says:
Come on in were open (wait at the door, thak you)
We were escorted into our room and given lovely, vigorous and sometimes painful massages (mostly by Foster) which needed no tip, what a bonus. I ended up being the luck one and getting to take a real nap for two hours while Ryan and the kids made cookies, oh and they were good too!
So funny!

Andrew's menu for McDonald's
Andrew was mall owner and ran the McDonald's. We sampled the ice cream and the smoothies but the doughnuts were stale!

Ryan's in Hawaii!

So our daddy is a jet setter and is traveling the world. These are some pictures that he took out his window when he arrived. I'm sure there will be more taken for the TWO WEEKS he is there, not that I'm jealous or anything.

Swimming with Pearl Cont.

Picasa need to let you blog more than four pictures at a time, am I right or am I right. It's the easiest and fastest way to do it but the four picture thing has got to go. Any way more self portraits of Pear and I and how much she loved that raft.

Swimming with Pearl

Yesterday I bought a floaty thingy for Pearl, hoping it would make it easier to swim with five kids in the pool. It didn't work. She did not like that thing at all and wanted to get out the instant I put her in, so much for my ideas.

Lilly is always helpful

Abigail and her goggles, she wouldn't look at me.

Enchanted Evening Prom

Wow what a night (and day for that matter). We helped put on a modest prom for the juniors and seniors in our school district area. I had lots of fun decorating and there was plenty of help. The event was beautiful and everyone, including me, had a good time.

Gilla Valley Temple Open House

Friday we pulled the kids out of school and snuck up early to the Open house. We have reservations for Thursday but I'm not writing the time down to go with the Garcia's yay! But Ryan couldn't go with us because he is in Hawaii (boo, hoo). So we made a quick trip and had a wonderful time. The kids loved it and it sparked lots of conversation about temples, they can't wait to go again, and be part of the dedication.

Pack Meeting, Choir Concert and Mutual Oh My!

Last Tuesday was packed with activities. Andrew received his Webelos's award. ( I am sure I need to be corrected with the technical term). Then the rest of the family minus me went to Empire for his concert, which he had a solo in and didn't tell me little stinker, so I missed it. I stayed at the church and had a fabulous time with the Beehives and their mothers at an "M&M" night. The funny story afterwards is that I left my keys at the building that night and didn't realize it because I got a ride home. The next day Ryan locked his keys in his car and we were stuck! I was hoping that they would still be where I left them so I borrowed keys to the church but no luck. My last hope was Sunday, that they would be in the library, which hey weren't. Long story short I finally got them from the Bishop of Rita Ranch ward. They had been turned in after an activity there Friday night?! OH MY....
