School Pictures

So we figured that since we are going to public school this year we would get the "full experience". Yesterday we received the kids pictures and they were right on target.

Here we have essence of Abigail, even her teacher thought that she was true to form.

Lilly, bless her heart, was trying her hardest to follow the photographers instructions: smile with your mouth closed

Andrew is going to be a knock out, he can charm his way out of anything!

All in all my critters are growing up so fast and giving me so much joy!

Hall Masterpiece

Foster has just added to the hall of famous masterpieces. He said to me the other day "Mommy here...Mommy here" He was very proud of his artwork on our hall of fame, so I took his picture. While I was at it I thought that I would document other great artists work in our hall for posterity. (Hoping that our hall will recieve a fresh coat of semi-gloss paint in the near furture)

Kids can fall asleep anywhere?

I noticed that it was too quite the other day and found Foster asleep. I hate to admit that I don't know how long he had been there when I found him. Luckily he wasn't creating another masterpiece in the hall.

Bottle Rockets

We love soda....bottles. This rocket Ryan made has been a blast. The great thing about it is that if we loose it oh well....who's thirsty?

The girls are such hams when they want to be.

Holding the rocket was the coolest part...literally!

That Pretty Much Sums up so much of our Life

Most of the time I find myself outside myself looking in and thinking "What are we doing? This is ridiculous!" I do admit that I help make it that way. Here are some fun pictures of the beach with a little bit of nonsense thrown in.
Our first picture here is my effort to prove to the kids that we actually did fun stuff.

Only Andrew notices something.

This next picture the wave caught us and the water was coooooold!

We finally got the picture I wanted and took home lots of memories!

Foster's Eye

I had to take a picture because all day Foster went around looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. We originally thought that the cold he previously had had settled into his eye and plugged a tear duct but after the swelling went down we decided that it was probably a mosquito bite.

Bow Ties

Who thought that I could make a bow tie? We have had lots of family weddings recently and Andrew brought up the point that the girls always got new dresses and he never got anything new. So I asked what he wanted and he told me a pink bow tie. These are the final product after making many practice attempts with my own pattern. They look even better on my cute little people.

Fresh Bread

I love to torture Ryan with a call from home telling him that bread is just coming out of the oven. I figured that since I would be in the kitchen making a meal for three armies that 6 loaves of bread wouldn't be that much more. It turned out pretty good although I haven't done the dishes yet (I am hoping to pass that fun job to someone else....Ryan)
