New Year's Eve Dance

Ryan and I got to be the "dance couple" in charge of the New Year's Eve dance this year. We met with a youth council for 4 months planning our "Clue" dance. But boy did it pay off. The dance was great and everyone had a good time. The breakfast was also delicious. That was a night that I'll always remember.

New Years Eve

The clue dace was great. The activities and decoration look great and were fun. The conclusion "play" with all the stake leaders was a big hit. The music was hoppin, breakfast was delicious, and everything went smoothly. It was a positive place to be to spend the new year!

Almost finished!

Doors are painted and back on. Now we just need to put the hardware on and little touch ups and it will be done. Yay, it looks so good already and makes a huge difference in the kitchen.

Santa Brings Bikes

Wow this year all the kids got bikes! It was a great Christmas!

Lilly's ELP project

Lilly made a 3D map of Greece and the famous architecture there. I took pictures so we would have room on the kitchen counter again.

A Savers Christmas Miracle

Well this was a surprise. We went one night to take the kids to savers so they could shop for each other since everything in the store was half off. I happened to see this beautiful armoire but couldn't tell how much it was. After finding the price tag I went to ask the clerk if it was also included in the half off sale thinking that it wouldn't but it was! It was too big for our car so we had some kind friends that helped us get it home in their truck and get it upstairs into our room. It is a huge solid wood piece and matches our bedroom furniture we already have. It was a tender mercy for me. Something I have wanted so long but was never going to spend the money for. This was right in our price range and provided just for us. The furniture guy said it had been in the store for 4 months and they always brought it back in the back during half off sales. I know it was a blessing just for me.

Sheeeees Out!

After a lovely date with Ryan we came to find all of our children asleep in our bed. She was the last one to leave and then I remembered to take a picture.

Let the Painting Begin

One step closer to my white kitchen although it is taking a LOT longer than I expected. But in the end I know it will be all worth it!
